Writing a 1600 (12 min) speech about the politics (& poetics) of waiting from the position of an unhoused impoverished person. I'll be speaking in front of a lot of ppl at the AAG conference in Honolulu later this month. (: Here are a couple of articles that I'm drawing my inspiration from. Both pages talk about concepts that are kind of important to know because they speak to the ways that social orders unconsciously condition us to think and act and therefore largely go unnoticed especially by people who though not directly affected in any great way, are deeply affected and controlled in latent ways.
