The FBI reports that it cited several drone operators and seized their aircraft after they violated temporary FAA flight restrictions near SoFi Stadium during Friday’s FIFA World Cup match. Those who violate the restrictions can face fines of up to $100,000, confiscation of their aircraft, federal criminal charges and up to one year in prison — a good reminder for fans to leave their drones at home as law enforcement works to protect our communities during this event.

The FBI said the pilots violated the Federal Aviation Administration's temporary flight restrictions over certain stadiums hosting World Cup matches.

Today, we join the nation in celebrating our beloved Old Glory. On this day in 1777, the Second Continental Congress approved the design of the U.S. flag, creating a symbol that has come to embody the unity, values and enduring spirit of our nation. As we honor the Stars and Stripes, let us reflect on its meaning to generations of Americans and pay tribute to the men and women who have defended the many freedoms it represents.

Last week, federal agents and L.A. police officers descended on MacArthur Park with military vehicles and a loudspeaker warning that individuals using narcotics would be subject to search and detention. The joint operation was part of a broader, sustained effort to free the area from the drugs, crime and gang activity that have plagued the park and surrounding community for decades.

On Thursday afternoon, a swarm of federal agents and Los Angeles police officers descended on MacArthur Park with military vehicles and a loudspeaker warning that those using narcotics would be subject to search and detention.
