Ashley's pov

I sauntered downstairs, already knowing what to expect from hearing the loud shouting from the boys. I groan rolling my eyes when I reach the bottom. "You guys are loud." I whine walking over to the three boys on the couch. They were busy watching football.

"Fu***ng Christ, did you see that?!" Arden yelled, tossing some popcorn at the TV. "Boo!" He grunt before taking a handful of popcorn and stuffed his mouth.

"What a fu***ng loser!" Ryan agreed, his face had turned a shade of red. Either he was mad or he was currently suffering from the heat in this house.

("This guy sucks ass!")

"Questo ragazzo succhia il c**o!" Blake chuckles. The rest join him and I'm left utterly confused. Does Arden even know what Blake just said?

Am I seriously being ignored here? Letting out a breath of irritation, I plod over to the kitchen area, leaving the boys screaming at the television. So much for ‘hurry up and get ready.’

I take off the scrunchie that was wrapped around the bone of my wrist and weaved my silky black hair through it until the strands were off my back.

Some tendrils still fluttered on my forehead but it wasn't enough to irk me. "Morning mom." I greeted her. She was busy cooking lunch, her back facing me as she circled a spoon in the pan before her.

She turned around just enough so I could see her face to send me a warm smile. "Morning baby, you woke up late. You're lucky I saved you some breakfast, your dad and brother almost finished it all." She laughed.

I sat down on one of the stools, resting my forearm on the cold marble counter. "Well technically I woke up early, I was just busy reading that's all." I admitted sheepishly.

She puts off the stove, spoon in hand as she twirls around to face me. A red sauce coated the spoon, its scent making my belly grumble. She walks over to me.

"How many times must I say that your stomach comes before books Ashley? Books can wait, I do not want you to starve." She scolds nearing me.

I chew on my plump bottom lip and looked down in shame, feeling like a little kid. "I know mommy. This one was just-" I looked for a word to describe the book I had yet to finish. "Interesting." I finished off with a blush. I prayed mom wouldn't notice my now redden face. I should've left my hair down.

She holds out the spoon and gestures for me to taste. I run a finger on the spoon, the sauce covers it. I draw it to my mouth and suck in the delicious sauce. "Hmmm." I moaned, sucking my finger.

Mom's eyes widen in satisfaction, a beaming smile plastering on her lips. Her hair falls loosely over her shoulder, the tips softly touching the end of her blue t-shirt. Her eyes crinkle at the corner as she continues to smile. She hadn't aged a bit. She was exactly the same, beautiful. Explains why dad can’t leave her alone.

"It's good?" She questions though she already knew the answer for this question.

"When have you ever cooked anything disgusting? Well apart from that turkey last year that you burnt." I jabbed before giggling. She narrows her eyes that were identical to mine. The glasses slide down my nose a tad bit. I pushed it back into place and smiled at mom. "Now can I have my breakfast mom?" I ask.

"Mrs Collins can I have some breakfast too?" Blake comes strolling in. He stops behind me, his body emanating a roll of heat. His shirt brushed my back and I involuntarily suck in a sharp breath. Stop it Ashley, he's your best friend.

"Ley what's the point of eating when we're about to head to Belle's?" He laughs and tugs my ponytail. I twist my head to look at him. Green eyes meet blue and we stare. "What's the point of asking for breakfast when we're about to go?" I countered back. I turn around and shrugged. "Besides I skipped breakfast earlier and I'm famished."

"Now who's fault is that?" I could hear the evident amusement in his tone. The way his voice took a husky edge when he usually tries to rattle me up. "You should really blame Raven for your hunger. If you weren't busy-"

I turn around swiftly, my face said it all. I was embarrassed and annoyed that he would joke around now that my mom was present. For God's sake she didn't even know I owned these books. I sneaked off to buy them in the local library a couple of minutes away.

Whenever dad gave me money to spend, I would save it to buy them. Now my secret was not so much of a secret anymore and all thanks to the blue eyed boy staring back at me in mirth. He found this amusing, what a so-called friend he is.

But you haven't been thinking about him in a friendly way lately, now have you ash? My conscience mocked me. I got off the stool and clutch his hand, tugging him along with me. "Leave the breakfast mom, I'm going at Belle's!" I shout over my shoulder.

She answers with a giggle. Great now even my mom found me amusing. Blake's chuckle pi**es me off and leads me to drop his hand. I turn around to glare at him but I'm not so sure I looked the least intimidating.

His finger came to massage the crease between my eyebrows. "Don't frown Ley, you'll get wrinkles on that pretty little face of yours."

I step away feeling a slight tingle where his finger touched my skin. I turn around and walk over to Ryan and Arden. Their eyes were fixated on the television, both transfixed to realise that I reached for the remote.

Their eyes gleam with anxiety as they focus their gaze to the screen. My finger hover over the off button before I finally pressed it. The screen goes blank and the boys mouth slacken.

"What the-" Arden started but I swiftly sent him a glare.

"If you finish that sentence I'll tell dad when he comes home from work." I warned.

He grumbles something under his breath before crossing his arms. He was two years younger than I yet he acted like he was the older one. He was the younger version of dad. At just the age of fifteen he was almost the same height as Blake and had girls falling at his feet.

I turn to Ryan, seeing that he still stared at the black screen in obvious confusion. "Let's go Ryan, I'm hungry." I say and turned around to saunter to the front door.

"Where are y'all going?" I could hear Arden question them.

"Belle's." Blake responded.

I open the front door not caring if they followed after. I spot Ryan's red Lamborghini and stroll over to it. My converse hit the pavement with a thud. I could distinctly hear their loud footsteps following after me.

"Someone's impatient to head to Belle's. Though I think you're impatient to get back to your reading," Blake teases when he caught up to me.

I ignored him opening the car door and plopped inside. The short ripped jumpsuit I wore showed off the smooth creamy skin of my thighs. I shift myself to get more comfortably on the seat. Blake's eyes flicker to my thighs before he swiftly averted his eyes, closing the door harder than necessary.

Both he and Ryan opened their door simultaneously and closed it. Blake turns in his seat and sends me wink."Don't worry Ley, we'll get you back to your reading. Then we can practice what you've been taught."

A red blush crawls up my face and coats my cheek. Ryan laughs and mumble something incoherent."Shut up." I mumble and stare out of the window.

Ryan starts up the car and a second later we are on our way to Belle's. Anxiety creeps up my spine as we near. I hate Belle's, it was too crowded. Reeked of teenagers, though I was one I didn't want to associate myself with them. They were rude and snobby. I only went there because of Blake and Ryan.

In the cold gloomy weather, a black Maybach cut through the rain, not slowing down even for the storm. Huge raindrops splattered across the windshield, sliding down the glass and making it difficult to see the road ahead. The man in the back seat of the car, however, seemed completely oblivious to the bad weather as he typed something on his phone.

All of a sudden, the driver slammed on the brake. The screeching sound of tires tore through the air as the car came to a halt on the empty bridge.

"What happened?" Edmund Lu asked unhappily with a frown.

The driver immediately turned his head and said nervously, "Mr. Lu, the car seems to have hit someone. I'll get out and take a look."

Before he could step out of the car, however, he saw a figure quickly approaching the window at the back seat of the car.

"Mr. Lu, please help me. My grandfather is in a serious condition at the hospital. The doctor said that he won't last even two months without a bone marrow transplant. There's no time left. In the whole S City, your bone marrow is the only match for my grandfather. Please save my grandfather, Mr. Lu," Pauline Song pleaded as she slapped the window hard. The rain mixed with the blood on her hands as it slid down the window. "Mr. Lu, I beg for your mercy! As long as you save my grandfather, I'll do anything!"

The rain was getting heavier and heavier, and lightning flashed directly overhead. The wind was so strong that Pauline Song could hardly stand. However, she firmly kept her eyes on the man in the car and continued, "Mr. Lu, please give me a chance to explain. I beg you!"

However, Edmund Lu just took a look at his watch and asked the driver to start the car again, as if he hadn't seen the woman outside the car at all. When the engine of the car started all of a sudden, Pauline Song was so startled that she staggered back a few steps and fell down. The rain sliding across her face made it hard for her to keep her eyes open. Instead of crying out or sitting there in pain, she quickly wiped her face and got up to catch up with the car.

To her surprise, she found the driver standing in front of her with an umbrella. She scowled in frustration and grabbed his sleeve. "James, why are you here?"

"Mr. Lu asked me to tell you that you're shameless for appearing in front of him and asking him for help three years after ruining everything. Doesn't Peter Gu have any other means?"

Pauline Song frowned as realization dawned on her. 'It turns out that Mr. Lu is actually Edmund. Of course, how many billionaires could there be in S City with the surname 'Lu'? I should have realized it long ago!' She could imagine the sneer and mockery in Edmund Lu's tone.

Due to the sudden turn of events, her face turned pale and her body trembled slightly. "No, it's not like that," she choked out with tears in her eyes. As if remembering something, she suddenly grasped James Gao's hand tightly and begged in a panicked tone, "James, for the sake of our past relationship, can you ask Mr. Lu to see me? I remember that he will listen to your advice."

James Gao subconsciously glanced at the back seat of the car and saw that Edmund Lu was staring at his hand, which was in Pauline Song's grasp. Feeling nervous, he quickly pulled his hand away. "You can tell Mr. Lu yourself."

Upon hearing this, Pauline Song sidestepped him and happily ran to the car. The door was suddenly opened. Before she could react, she was pulled into the back seat of the car and then into a strong embrace. The light smell of to***co wafted over to her nostrils. "Mr. Lu!" she exclaimed.

She raised her head and saw a pair of cold and ruthless eyes staring down at her. When she was about to say something, Edmund Lu's powerful hand pinched her chin. He spoke to her in a soft voice as if he was speaking to his lover, but his words were beyond cruel. "It seems that you've grown a lot in the past three years. In addition to stealing, you have also learned to seduce men."

Pauline Song felt a burst of anger after hearing his demeaning words, but she forced herself to calm down. She had come here to beg him for help, so she was already prepared to lose her dignity. Compared to her grandfather's life, her pride was nothing! The reason why she had risked her life to stop this car in the first place was that she could save her grandfather. It was almost impossible for her to get a chance to talk to the great Edmund Lu face to face. How could she waste this chance being pitiful?

Recalling the image of her grandfather still lying in the hospital bed, Pauline Song bit her lips hard and forced herself to endure the humiliation. Then she said in a trembling voice, "Mr. Lu, it doesn't matter how much you humiliate me as long as you are willing to save my grandfather. He can't wait any longer. Please save him for the sake of what happened three years ago."

A sneer appeared at the corners of Edmund Lu's lips. "You want me to save your grandfather? That won't happen unless I die."

His ruthless rejection stabbed her heart like a knife.

Pauline Song felt so helpless that she didn't even have the strength to cry. How could she have thought that he would be as gentle as before? The only reason he was talking to her was that he could humiliate her.

Edmund Lu's eyes darkened as he looked at the drenched woman with pale face. He knew he should have felt happy after saying such harsh words to her, but when he saw her pitiful face, his heart ached.

However, after a second, he regained his composure and his heart became stony once again. Without mercy, he pushed her out of the car. As Pauline Song fell awkwardly in the rain, her knees and elbows were grazed by the asphalt road. At the same time, the window of the Maybach opened a crack. Edmund Lu looked down at her with disgust and wiped the fingers that had just touched her face with a handkerchief.

"Take the money to change your face and seduce another man. It's disgusting." A pile of bills flew out of the window and landed near Pauline Song's feet.

Then, accompanied by the rumble of the engine and the thunder, the Maybach disappeared in the rain.

The strong wind from the departure of the car made the money fly all over the sky.

Pauline Song got up and tried to grab the notes with her hands, but she did not catch any of them. It was just like the 24 years of her life. She had tried so hard to do everything well, but had constantly been rejected by others. Even her grandfather, the only person who loved her, was lying in the hospital now.

It was close to midnight when the storm gradually subsided. Kneeling on the ground, Pauline Song picked up the notes one by one and put them into a suitcase. Suddenly, her eyes caught sight of a necklace. She picked it up and held it in front of her eyes. After standing in the rain for such a long time, she was freezing, and her hand that was holding the necklace was trembling.

The style of the necklace was very special, so she recognized it at once—it was the gift that she had gotten from her grandfather when she turned eighteen years old. She hadn't cried when she was humiliated by Edmund Lu, nor had she cried when she was thrown to the ground by him. But when she saw the necklace, she couldn't help but burst into tears.

"You are so useless, Pauline!" she told herself.

'But the necklace disappeared since that night. Was it because...?'

Before she could think it over, the wind came again, blowing all the notes that she had picked up back to the sky.

"Elise!"

I whirl around, my pin-straight hair follows the movement. My eyes meet familiar blue ones.

"Shuss!" I mock-glare at my best friend "I'm doing something important!"

His lips tug upwards in the usual crooked grin and he simply leans against the wall, watching me as I achieve greatness.

Right, I take the catapult, grab a big walnut and take aim. One, two, three...

Snap!

A banshee-like scream meets my ears and I quickly duck behind the wall, choking on giggles.

"Who did this?" A shrill voice demands "Who did this?!"

A familiar deep chuckle reaches me from my side.

"What are you? A four-year-old?" He asks, his eyes shining with amusement

"Just because I'm 19 doesn't mean I can't have fun." I grin at him "you wanna try?"

He considers it for a moment "Why the hell not?"

I give him a walnut and the catapult, we exchange a serious nod like the ones best friends do before stealing ice cream from the fridge.

He aims, pulls the rubber back andー

Snap!

"I'm going to kill you when I find you!"

Unable to hold me back, I stumble away, clasping my hands on my mouth. Only when I'm out of earshot, laughter bubbles past my lips and I can almost feel my face becoming red.

Another laugh combines with mine and I realize I'm not the only one who ran.

"Goddess, you didn't see her face!" He says

"Oh don't worry, we always have next time," I say grinning

"Carlos!"

Both of us jump at the stern voice, soon enough a tall man with pale blond hair and grey eyes comes into my view.

"Beta Drake," I and Carlos bow our heads

Beta looks at me for a second, his eyes holding the usual glint of disdain, then turns to my bestie.

"What are you doing here?" He demands "all the pack warriors are supposed to be training right now."

"The training ended not five minutes ago, Beta." Carlos says, jumping to his serious voice "in fact, I was just her to tell the Omega to clean the weapons."

Beta turns his harsh face to me again.

"Then stop standing here like an idiot and get to it!" He barks

I stare back into his grey eyes defyingly. My muscles itch to bend my neck and submit, my eyes prickle with the effort of looking into his powerful ones but I've practiced this for ages.

"Of course, Beta." I finally say and turn around to get as far from him as possible.

Like father like daughter.

But it's not Beta's fault. You see, ever since he found out that Darcie─ his daughter, is a nut job, he's been one himself. And what a pity I've never known him before his condition.

As I pass through the hallways of our ridic**ously big packhouse, everyone considers my existence in their unique way. Some give me the stink eye, some quickly turn away, some with looks of superiority.

A growl claws at my throat to let it out.

I roll my eyes like a bunch of pack warriors pass by me, smirking. Lycans, I shake my head, they think they're so amazing.

I pass by the weapons room but don't bother checking. I cleaned everything just yesterday.

So far, Carlos has been the only friend I have other than a few omegas. Heck, even some of the omegas look at me and mom with dislike.

But none of it bothers me as much as it did. Because my escape plan is simple;

1-Find my mate.

2-Convince him to take my mom with us to his pack.

3-Escape.

4-Attain Godly powers and destroy every lycanthrope with a superiority complex and then take over the world.

See? Simple.

I go outside the main packhouse and towards the Omega quarters. On the outside of the little building, I see a familiar figure.

"Juliette!" Darcie barks, my fingers curl in fists as my mother hurries outside to receive the b*tch

"Yes, Miss Parks?" Mom asks politely

"I want a foot massage, right now!" She says, flipping her long blond hair

I watch as my mom swallows, see the hesitation in her eyes and watch as her head moves in a nod.

My blood boils.

"Wait!" I quickly jog towards them

"What is it, Alice?" Darcie snaps

"Mom is needed to clean the weapons in the weapon room, sorry she can't come with you," I say trying my level best not to glare at her

"Fine," Darcie huffs, then her eyes light up "Why don't you come with me then? My feet could use some proper tending. And it must be an honor, for a werewolf Omega to touch the feet of a Lycan beta."

My left eye twitches but I glance at mom, at her still pretty face. The light in her hazel eyes is so dull than what it used to be...

Swallowing my pride and dignity I nod.

Darcie flashes her pearly white teeth at me and turns around to go inside the packhouse. I turn to mom.

"No cleaning needed in the weapons room, go and rest, yeah?" I say, smiling at her

"Elise, sweetie, you shouldn't have." Mom says "if Darcie finds outー

"She wouldn't care," I wave a hand dismissively "she likes to p**s me off whenever she can get the chance."

"Alice! Hurry up you lazy, good for nothing idiot!"

"I better go," my lips curl in disgust

Nonetheless, I turn to follow Her Royal Du***ss and quickly fall in step behind her.

"Took you long enough," she snaps

Maybe next time I can throw rotten eggs at her? Or if I can someone get my hands on a used diaper...

"I can't believe how slow you omegas walk,"

Although it's too much effort for the likes of her, I think I might just do it.

"Are you mute or something? Then again, you can't argue about it."

Are there any babies in our pack? Preferably ones that might have stomach problems?

Darcie leads me to her room, the pinkiest, furriest, most sparkling room in the house. One I've been in too many times.

She lays down on the daybed and gestures at her shoes.

Don't lose it. Do not lose it.

I yank off her shoes, ignoring the smirk on her face. My fingers itch in resistance as I move them near her feet, a growl claws at my throat harder than usual but I focus all my energy on my breaths. In and out. In and out.

"You know Alice," Darcie says as I try not to crush her feet "I'm very happy today, so happy that even your inferior presence isn't bothering me."

"You're too generous."

"It's like my birthday, Christmas, and the full moon all in one!" She says

If I can just move my fingers a bit higher, preferably to your throat, it might be like your funeral too.

"Because he's coming!" She says excitedly "my love is coming back and thanks to Moon he didn't find his mate or something. Now nothing is separating us!"

"Who's coming?" I ask

Surprisingly, she smiles wider, it's creeping me out.

"Luke! My Luke is coming back!" She says

I freeze. Her words echo in my head.

Luke! Luke is coming back!

Oh no.

Ava POV

It was midnight in the winter. The Moon was shining brightly in the sky as if inviting people to stay up late and stare at it like a movie or an emotional beautiful scene.

But it was not for me.

The beauty of the shining moon, windy night and darkness only made my resolution harder. I have decided, and I am not going to back off from my decision.

It's not like anyone cared about my decision or the way I felt, anyway. Everyone in my life had decided to leave me because of one stupid decision that I had made in the rush of sentiments. One stupid thing that had changed my life.

One damn stupid thing.

Right at the moment, as I walk barefoot on these empty road, lit only by road lights, I realize how your one small action can ruin your life. How, abruptly, your life can change within a blink of an eye. How, who you thought were people you loved and who loved you back, can abandon you in the most difficult time of your life.

My white, frizzy, one shoulder dress gave me a ghost look. My face was wet with tears. While the bear bottle I was holding in my one hand, to drink so that It could dull the pain and exhaustion did nothing to console it. It did nothing to make me forget about the reality. It did not bring me into a world full of dreams.

But I was not going to stop drinking until the whole bottle was finished.

Or until I take my last breath tonight.

Until I attempt su***de.

I walked and walked and walked without a sense of direction. My feet stumbled as I pushed myself to move forward. My vision got fuzzy and my chest felt like it was burning.

Still I forced myself to move forward.

Finally, I arrived where I wanted badly.

A bridge over a lake.

I walked over to it's railing and stared down. The water was sparkling in the moon's light and flowing in slow rhythm. Like it did not have any worry in life. No worry that a big rock will stop its way. The water could just flow around the rock. Over it. And it could swallow it.

Unlike me.

I swallowed another chug of the alcohol and wiped my mouth with the back of my hand. I look at the remaining alcohol in my bottle. It was very little left hence I drowned it before swinging the bottle and throwing it into the lake.

“Screw you all!!” I screamed in the thin air. My voice echoed in the distance, then disappeared into nothingness. I swung my leg over the railing then the other. My hands grabbed the railing and I turned, my back towards the railing and my face towards the downfall.

I closed my eyes as more tears dripped down my face. It was the same as the Titanic movie scene. Where Rose stood on the railing, ready to kill herself.

The only difference was that no Jack was coming to save me from my fate. I closed my eyes and breathed deeply.

“I'm sorry Mom and Dad. I love you.” I whispered and let go of the railing.

Letting myself off the sorrow and pain.

To seek the relief and peace from death.

I started to fall forward but suddenly, all the air in my lungs left my body when someone grabbed me around from my waist and pulled me back. In a blink of an eye, I was picked up and swung up and over the railing then back on to the road.

It all happened in such an abrupt motion that I didn't even get a chance to breathe. Blinking my eyes rapidly, I tried to clear my vision and see who was in front of me.

“Are you okay, Miss?” A deep, heavy and magnetic voice filled my ears. And I saw a white, tall, handsome guy with a breathtaking beautiful face, looking at me. He had brown hair and his eyes were bright green. And he was looking at me with worried expressions.

Anger bubbled up in my heart and I glared at him.

“Why the f**k did you save me?” I asked and pushed him back with all my strength. He was not expecting me to attack him. Hence, he stumbled on his feet, losing his balance and fell back.

I wiped my face with the back of my hand and stood. He did as well. He looked at me like I was gone crazy. Which was not wrong.

He was tall with around 6'4" height, and he towered at my 5'5" figure. I had to crane my neck to look at him in the eyes. He was wearing a white shirt and black jeans. His hairs were ruffled.

He stared at me like he was looking at an animal in the zoo. He did not make a move to move back, so I did. I pushed at his chest.

“Who in the world gave you the right to stop me? Huh?” I asked.

He moved back a little at the impact but still did not do anything to stop me. I hit his chest again.

“Who do you think you are?” I yelled at him. This time he did not even move an inch with my push. He just stood there looking at me. I pushed him again.

“Why does everyone think that they could treat me like trash?” I questioned him.

I pushed him again.

“How dare you to stop me?” I asked him.

I pushed at his chest again but didn't say anything this time.

Now, more tears were pouring out of my eyes and my nose was running. I knew my cheeks had turned red more from crying than feeling cold.

All the while, I was pushing him away, not once did he raise his hands to stop me from hitting him. Nor once, he flinched back. Not once, he asked me to stop cursing at him.

I was venting my own personal anger at him that he certainly did not deserve. He did not deserve my attacks or my cussing or my anger.

At the moment, I was feeling like an idiot who let a stranger witness me in my worst state. I was so out of my mind that I wanted to break something. Punch something. Or at least scream at someone.

But all I did was to stand there like an idiot and glare at him. A person who saved me.

“Get out of my way.” I murmured and pushed him to a side so that I could walk away.

Instead, all of a sudden, blackness engulfed me but not before I noticed that I had fallen into the stranger's arms who grabbed me right before I fell and everything went blank.

01/12/2022

In a confined room, filled with a different creaking sound, the sounds made from main rats, which roamed around the room, a small window which served as ventilation in the room, the room was empty, no decoration to beautify the room, old paint which was already pilling off, from the walls, which have created a home for bugs and ant, the only reasonable items was an old chair and table, and a wardrobe, which served the user of the abandoned room as its best-valued possession.

It was the very early hours of the morning, a young girl laid on the bed, her thick black hair which covers the bed, as she laid tired, from the previous day's works, she had not been asleep for more than four hours, when a bowl of water was poured on her tired body. She woke up, with a great force, as if the water poured in her had woken her up from her a terrifying dream, sleeping back again on the bed, another basin of ice-cold water came crashing on her body, causing her to jerk up, her eyes widening with fear, she had overslept, more than her usual time. Falling on her knees in an instant, a sob breaking forth from her lips,

"You ungrateful bitch of a child, what are you still doing on the bed by these time of the early hours of the morning, who the hell do you think will get the grains sieved and grounded huh, you wolf less girl, my shame and disgrace, now will you stand up and go get the day ready for the pack's breakfast"

The woman's voice thundered throughout the whole room, the woman's voice sending the young girl out of the room in an instant, her body sluggishly walking towards the pack's kitchen, it was still the very early hours of the morning, everywhere seemed so dark, not the right time for a normal werewolf to rise from sleep.

Bella was an omega, she knew she had no right to voice out her thoughts unless she does be thrown to the city's mine, which might happen soon enough because no one would accept an omega of the pack as a mate. So soon enough she would be thrown to the pack mine. But sometimes she wished, and hoped, not to be mated, to a vicious mate, who won't be vicious and a good for nothing.

As she strode towards the kitchen, the lights were switched off, giving it a dark view, making her quite scared of walking further into the dark, the lampstand was still quite far from her reach.

"What is the time. Is probably four in the morning"

She whispered to herself, considering the pack has always been up to after six o'clock in the morning.

She was about to enter the kitchen when she felt a hand drag her out from the corner, she made a light scream, struggling to break forth from whosoever was dragging her to another room.

"Help, help, let go of me"

She shouted, but the alley was too quiet for anyone to hear her, everyone was still asleep, but who must have been dragging her. Who so ever that was dragging her was a male, his hands said so, the man's hands covering her mouth, stopping her from screaming, her words came out muffled. A door opened and closed immediately, and with a heavy force, her back got slammed on a wall, making her back hurt and a hiss escaped her lips, the male was quite a strong one, but the pain never stopped her from trying to struggle, but a heavy slap descended on her face, making her stop struggling, as she hissed with pain, holding unto her cheek, a scream erupted from her lips but the male was quick enough to quieten her with his hand. Raising her head, the room was dark, but a little light from the rising sun made the features of whosoever has kidnapped her be visible. She saw her captor, who was no other male wolf but the alpha's son, Lucas, the soon-to-be alpha, who was yet to find a mate for himself but he never got to be blessed by a mate. He was always been spoilt, pampered, and raised more than a prince, making him arrogant and evil. His father was the pioneer person, who brought out the law of throwing wolfless wolves to the mine so they could suffer for life. Lucas had always been given the best things, possessions, and he was her worst bully. The first wolf to make her life painful in the pack, and thus, these made him her worst enemy, and him dragging her here to the storeroom, meant, he wanted to give her more trouble, but the male wolf never seemed to make a sentence to her, he had been quiet, watching her with those green eyes, which looked like it wanted to burn her to death. She raised her head fully. Now staring at his face, he had given her a two feet space, which has made her breathe properly. But she knew she was in big trouble.

"What can I help you with alpha Lucas"

She whispered, hoping her voice never sounds so rash nor weak, anything that has to do with the alpha, one needs to be careful with the way they talk, the man was a dark devil, who takes simple things so seriously.

But the reply she got from him surprised her, the alpha's son strode towards her, caging her on the wall, she shook with fear, never expecting such actions from him, there was the first time the alpha's son had come close to her. What was he trying to do with her, was he not satisfied with the title of being a bully, did he want an upgrade, or been called a pervert.

Lucas raised his hands on her cheek, as he brought the other hands near her head, blocking her from escaping, then raising her head, making her look at him, eyeball to eyeball.

"Hello wolf less omega, I never knew you got the energy to fight me back. Well considering in a day time, would be the day we find our mates"

He said, stopping mid-way at his words, he was twenty-eight, everyone knew how hard it was for him to find his mate, maybe, because the goddess had caused him not to ever have a mate because of his evils. But Lucas had never been so serious with the alpha title, he was the only son to the current alpha and Luna, so he does not seem to have any brother with whom he could compete for the position of the alpha. He only has two little sisters. Lucas could not believe he had the most worthless female in his arms, but he could not resist, at least not having a taste of her, “before she got rejected by her mate and then thrown to the mine, that would be a waste” He thought.

"So why don't we have a little bit of fun, also because you will be rejected by your mate, no one would accept you, you know. You are an omega, and also you do not have any wolf in you, so why don't you take the privilege am offering you on a platter of gold. And let's have a little bit of fun, before the pack members awake and maybe I will save you from the hands of your mate, when the time comes, you might not be thrown to the dungeon."

Lucas said, offering her a devious smile, it was not every day the alpha son offers someone sexual advances, all unmated females want him in their arms, so who was the slave to reject him.

"So would you like it slow, or fast, am at your command beauty?"

Lucas said, biting her neck, feeling as she shivered under his touch, as he was about to unzip her dress, the reaction he had expected from her shocked him to the brim, it was worse than he had expected.
