Starting next week, there are even more resources coming to JCOD DOORS Antelope Valley!

FREE FOOD:
For those in need, there will be non-perishable food items available for pickup Monday - Thursday from 8am-5pm. This is while supplies last.

BENEFITS ENROLLMENT:
Every Tuesday and Thursday, The Department of Social Services (DPSS) will be on site to help people enroll in Medi-Cal, CalFresh, CalWORKs and General Relief Programs. They can also walk you through which of their programs you are eligible for.

If you or someone you know are in need, come on down.

What an inspiring day it was at the graduation of Cohort 1 of the JCOD x Dirtbags Academy! 20 individuals put the work in and completed 12 weeks of intensive training in motorcyle welding & fabrication, maintenance & service, print & design, paint & body, detailing and more.

Each participant earned a pre-apprenticeship certificate in business and marketing, certificate of completion from the Long Beach Mayor's Office, certificate of completion from Long Beach District 9, and certificate of completion from Dirtbags.

At least half of the graduates have already been offered jobs!

Huge thank you to Dirtbags for the incredible programming they put together.
