Join us October 16–18 for our inaugural Family Weekend, “Your Family, Our Community.” This special weekend invites parents, families and supporters to experience Cal State LA alongside their Golden Eagle.

Spend the weekend connecting with the university community, exploring campus programs and resources, enjoying family activities, cheering on the Golden Eagles and making new memories together.

🎟️ Family Weekend Pass: $100
One pass includes admission for up to four supporters plus one Cal State LA student, along with select meals, activities, entertainment, parking and more.

A bigger field, more community members and even some four-legged competitors. 🏃🐕

The 2nd Annual Community Race brought community members to campus to run, walk and roll the 3-mile course. New this year, four dogs and their owners joined the fun as part of the race’s first-ever doggy division.

The morning also welcomed 28 high schools for a cross-country season kickoff, bringing the total crowd to about 850 people.

Thank you to everyone who came out to move, compete and celebrate community with us!

🏆 Emmy-winning work: powered by Golden Eagles!

Theatre and Dance Chair Meredith Greenburg and students Leah Cobleigh and Ngan Ho-Lemoine helped bring the 66th Annual Los Angeles County Holiday Celebration to life, and now the production has now earned a Los Angeles Emmy Award.

From the stage to behind the scenes, our Golden Eagles are gaining hands-on experience alongside some of LA’s leading arts and entertainment professionals. Congratulations to Meredith, Leah and Ngan on this incredible achievement!
