2020 FIREFIGHTERS’ MEMORIAL ALL CALL
Yesterday, the Los Angeles County Fire Department honored our fallen members in a moving Firefighters’ Memorial All Call Service.
The Memorial Wall, which stands at our Fire Department Headquarters Facility in East Los Angeles, has 95 names etched in stone. 29 members listed paid the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty and 66 members passed away while on active duty.
As part of yesterday’s all call service, we paid special tribute to Fire Fighter Randall Duarte and Battalion Chief Mark Tolbert. Both members passed away in 2019, while on active duty.
We would like to thank the Firefighters’ Memorial Committee, Los Angeles County Firefighters, IAFF Local 1014, our amazing Family Support Group, the Association of Chiefs, Los Angeles County Fire Department Honor Guard, Los Angeles County Fire Department Chaplain's Corner, and Los Angeles County Firefighters Pipes and Drums for standing with us to honor our fallen members along with their families.
We shall never forget.
