With our collaboration with the Children’s Institute and GreenDot Schools, they are ready to make a meaningful difference in our community! 🙌
✨ Introducing Armando Tellez:
“I grew up in the Florence/Firestone area of South Los Angeles and am proud to be the first in my family to graduate from high school and earn a college degree. I transitioned from East Los Angeles College to UCLA, where I completed my Sociology degree in 2017. I then pursued my master’s in Educational Leadership and Policy at the University of Texas at Austin, graduating in 2019. My career has focused on assisting first-generation college students of color, as well as supporting current and formerly incarcerated youth and adults. I am eager to start my role and serve you and your scholar.”

“I earned a BA in Chicano/a and Central American Studies from UCLA and have a deep passion for community and family services. My work involves connecting students and families to crucial resources, including mental health support and housing assistance. I actively participate in school meetings to provide essential linkages and ensure that the needs of our clients are met with care.”
