It's always good to get news from all different sides and compare. With this I've checked and it is true. The IMF has issued this "warning". If you aren't familiar with who the IMF it is the International Monetary Fund.

Always keep "emergency money" on hand along with emergency supplies is what I'm always encouraging everyone to do. We never know when a catastrophe or any other type of "emergency" may arise.
