The road to LA28 is already underway, and the materials we choose today will shape the legacy we leave behind.

USGBC California, in partnership with the City of Los Angeles, City of Long Beach, and County of Los Angeles, has just released a Request for Information to identify low-carbon concrete solutions for infrastructure tied to the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

This is part of a broader effort to accelerate the use of lower carbon materials across the region, including market engagement with public agencies and industry leaders, a Carbon Forward convening and report this September, and a policy push this fall focused on low-carbon thresholds.

We invite manufacturers, suppliers, and innovators advancing low-carbon concrete solutions to respond and help inform what comes next.
