CHAPTER 1: THE MISSING CANDY HOUSE Detective BOO woke up to the bustling excitement of Halloween Town. The air was filled
with the sweet smell of candy and the laughter of children in costumes. It was Halloween Eve, and the town was buzzing with preparations for the big celebration. BOO stretched and put on his detective hat, ready to join the fun. But as he trotted down Main Street, he noticed something strange—where was the Candy House? It had vanished!
Just then, BOO’s friend, Gus the Ghost, floated by. “BOO, have you seen the Candy House?” Gus asked, his voice echoing like a gentle breeze.
"No, Gus! It’s gone!" BOO exclaimed, sniffing the air for clues. "Without it, the party will be
a disaster!"
Gus handed BOO a crumpled note he found fluttering near the empty lot where the Candy
House once stood. "Look at this," he said.
The note read: FIND ME WHERE THE PUMPKIN GLOW.
BOO’s tail wagged excitedly. "It's a clue! We’re on a mission, Gus!"
Gus giggled, "A mystery on Halloween Eve? Count me in!"
