New Village Girls Academy

New Village Girls Academy New Village Girls Academy is an all-girls public high school in Los Angeles. The New Village campus is safe, recently renovated and well equipped.

New Village offers a variety of classes and experiences in the arts and human development, in addition to core academic subjects. We are a four-year, all-girls, public charter high school with a maximum of 180 students, and we are committed to small classes with a student-to-faculty ratio of no more than 20 to 1. It is located near Rampart and Beverly Boulevards in downtown Los Angeles. Each stude

nt at New Village has a faculty advisor who remains the same until the student graduates. The student, with her advisor’s guidance, develops an individual learning plan built around her strengths and challenges, interests and occupational goals. The individual learning plan assures that each entering student’s high school work will satisfy the admission requirements of the University of California and other colleges and universities. Nurtured and treated with genuine respect, New Village students are expected to become self-reliant women through the development of the skills, ambition, and self-confidence necessary to lead productive, successful lives. Our core belief is that all students are gifted, and New Village welcomes girls of all abilities and backgrounds. We are so proud of our graduating seniors and all they have accomplished throughout their time at New Village Girls Academy. From academic achievement and leadership to service and personal growth, each recognition reflects years of hard work and dedication. 💜

As they prepare for their next chapter, we are excited to see where their journeys lead and remain committed to supporting them long after graduation.

Our students had an unforgettable adventure during this year’s annual Yosemite trip in partnership with the WildLink program 🌲🏕️

From hiking beautiful trails to camping under the stars, this experience gave students the opportunity to disconnect from daily stress, connect with nature, and build lasting memories together.

Trips like these create space for growth, reflection, leadership, and community beyond the classroom.

We are incredibly grateful to WildLink for helping provide our students with the opportunity to experience the beauty, peace, and wonder of Yosemite National Park together.

Nuestras estudiantes vivieron una aventura inolvidable durante el viaje anual a Yosemite en colaboración con el programa WildLink 🌲🏕️

Throwback to a meaningful moment as New Village Girls Academy Principal Jennifer Quiñones accepted this special recognition honoring 20 years of impact from Los Angeles City Council District 13.

Thank you to Councilmember Hugo Soto-Martínez and for recognizing the work, vision, and community that continue to empower young women across Los Angeles.

For two decades, NVGA has remained committed to creating a supportive, student-centered learning environment where young women are encouraged to lead, grow, and reimagine what’s possible.
