os Angeles United Methodist Urban Foundation. Hutchinson Professor of Urban Studies at Claremont School of Theology. Now in its 30th year, the founda-tion’s longevity and stability, combined with the professional expertise contained within its infrastructure, has led to a natural expansion -- with hands-on help and technical assistance for faith-based organizations committed to transforming urban communities throughout the Los Angeles region. Revenue comes from a small endowment, individual donors, special events, and in the form of grants from various arms of the United Methodist Church and private foundations. Funds support grant-making, partnership projects, direct services like Kid City -- a youth leadership program founded and administered in partnership with First Los Angeles United Methodist Church, and promising new projects such as the Museum of Social Justice and the Urban Internship program. Please join us as we make our vision of a vital, expansive, inclusive urban community a daily reality.
