We were excited to join LADWP’s Emergency Resources Fair to connect with employees and share important City resources that help them better serve Angelenos.

Together, we’re making sure our communities know where to turn for support when they need it most.

CID was proud to join Council District 9’s Senior Appreciation Summer Extravaganza, celebrating active aging, connection and joy among the district’s older adults!

The celebration featured lively performances by the Mariachi Divas and the Seville & Ohio Trio Plus.

Thank you to Council District 9 for continuing to recognize and celebrate our older adults while creating spaces where they can connect, thrive and enjoy community.

The LA Sparks gifted CID a customized jersey during today’s Seniorcize event at the WLCAC Bradley Multipurpose Senior Center. But the real gift? Watching older adults groove, exercise, and bring the center to life!

We’re grateful to everyone who showed up, the WLCAC staff, and the Sparks staff for helping us build community through wellness, movement, and fun.

Fresh, nutritious food is within reach for more older Angelenos! 🍎🥬

The Community Investment Department received 2,600 Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program benefit cards, each providing $50 for eligible adults ages 60 and older to purchase locally grown produce, honey and fresh-cut herbs.

Cards are being distributed across Los Angeles, including to older adults affected by the Boyle Heights fires. We captured participants at the Sunland Senior Center receiving their benefits and getting ready to visit their local farmers’ markets!
