Tens of millions of workers around the world engaged in strikes and protests last week to call for government action to stop the spread of the pandemic and for compensation to unemployed workers. But all over the world there are organizations and "psuedo-left" political parties that operate for the sole political purpose of keeping the working class from developing an independent political line to fight for their own interests.

The Socialist Equality Party and the IYSSE have a program of action for workers, and it begins with a resolute political and organizational break from all groups that spin lies of reforming the system or to fight for marginal concessions in this time of extreme global inequality and poverty. This perspective outlines the current political atmosphere internationally which the working class must understand and then fight for their own interests.
