🚔 Transit Services Bureau Training Update 🚔

Yesterday, Transit Services Bureau’s South Special Assignment Unit (SAU South) participated in a joint training exercise with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) at the Santa Anita Racetrack.

The training focused on responding to and mitigating a coordinated attack on a large public venue and included scenarios involving an officer-involved shooting, the safe handling of a suspected improvised explosive device (IED), and a hostage situation.

These realistic training exercises strengthen interagency coordination, enhance tactical readiness, and ensure our personnel are prepared to respond effectively to complex critical incidents.
