Desse, the Ansbach Physical Distancing Fairy, visits USAG Ansbach Garrison Command Section to spread the word of maintaining social-connectedness while physically distanced in our fight to prevent the transmission of COVID 19. The Fairy came to life through the efforts of Victoria Hanrahan, DFMWR Entertainment Director and Kimberley Stockton, IMCOM-Europe theatrical costume collection and workshop, Theatrix. Using costume shop equipment and material Theatrix staff have sewn very fashionable face coverings to gift community members with stylish and protective fashion accessories. The Physical Distancing Fairy character appears throughout the Ansbach community spreading the word of maintaining a safe distance and a healthy connection to those around us.

I’m honored to have spent the Thanksgiving holiday in Alaska getting to play for our men and women of the United States Army. When I was asked to go, I didn’t hesitate. Having never been to Alaska I didn’t know what to expect. My mind was blown! Alaska in itself is truly amazing but the best part of playing these military shows are getting to converse with the soldiers. It feels strange when they “thank me“ for being there. Ultimately the reason I come is because I’m thankful for them and their sacrifice. If I can bring a little bit of home to them, that’s what matters. They go where they are told and don’t question it, to protect us. My hats off to all of our troops foreign and domestic. Thank you USO Fort Wainwright Fort Greely U.S. Army Entertainment Office for bringing me and Natalie Stovall up to entertain these fine folks. I am proud to now be a “Rugged Professional“ 🇺🇸❄️
WELCOME TO AMERICA AGAIN
(A Tribute to the American Combat Veteran)
This is music that you are authorized to use as a weapon. It's wartime music for the American military and our allies to use against our enemies. I assure you it works. I've performed extensive tests with the songs. USE WITH CAUTION
