This charter offers neighborhood councils a role in the City’s decision-making process. Nuestros ciudadanos tienen la oportunidad de involucrarse con los acontecimientos en nuestro vecindario que nos afectan. El objetivo principal del Concilio vecinal de Hollywood Central es el ser un puente real y efectivo entre las personas que habitan, trabajan, estudian, tienen una propiedad o pertenecen a una organización en esta área geográfica y las autoridades de ciudad de Los Ángeles.

Save the Date for the H2.Open House & Mural Unveiling

The Central Hollywood Neighborhood Council is sharing an official community invitation to the upcoming H2.Open House, taking place on Friday, June 12, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM.

This event marks the culmination of a collaborative initiative between Hollywood 2.0 peers, LA County's Department of Mental Health, Hollywood 4WRD, the LA Hope Dealer, and the broader Hollywood community. Attendees will celebrate the unveiling of a permanent community mural painted on the clinic building, alongside the program's very first peer art showcase.

🎟️ Admission: Free with required RSVP.

🚒 Save the Date: Fire Service Day in Hollywood!

Join the Los Angeles Fire Department for a fun and educational Fire Service Day at Fire Station 27 on Saturday, May 9 from 9 AM to 2 PM.

This family-friendly event is a great opportunity to meet local firefighters, learn about fire safety, and see equipment up close. Activities include demonstrations, hands-on experiences, and a chance to explore fire engines and gear.

Visitors can also stop by the LAFD Museum next door to check out classic fire trucks, enjoy food (suggested donation), and learn more about the history of the fire service.
