Looking ahead to next session, the LA County Legislative Delegation remains committed to fighting for the communities we serve and delivering real results for LA County families.

This past year brought major wins for our region, and there is still so much work ahead.

Proud to share that Assemblymember Tina McKinnor has been reelected as Chair, continuing to lead this delegation with the same dedication and vision.

Here is to another session of showing up for our communities.

37 legislators. 10 million residents. One mission. 🌴

The LA County Legislative Delegation brings together 37 legislators, combining Assemblymembers and Senators, united behind one shared goal: making sure our communities get the resources, funding, and support they deserve at the State Capitol.

They fight for the budget investments that keep LA County running: housing, healthcare, wildfire recovery, transit, and more. Every voice, one delegation, one county.

That’s the spirit behind the LACD Foundation’s FIFA World Cup 2026 watch party raising funds for Altadena and the Palisades fire.

On Friday July 10th, the LA County Legislative Delegation Foundation hosted a FIFA World Cup 2026 watch party right here in Inglewood to raise funds for Altadena and Palisades fire relief, and the turnout was everything.

Belgium vs. Spain had the whole crowd locked in, cheering, and celebrating together for a cause that matters.

This is what community feels like: good food, good people, and a shared commitment to helping neighbors rebuild.

Thank you to every vendor who showed up and showed out, and thank you to everyone who came to celebrate with us. Y’all made this event unforgettable.

Here’s to many more moments like this. ⚽️❤️

On May 29th, the LA County Legislative Delegation joined Altadena survivors for a ribbon cutting on two brand new ADU units built by with $100K raised by the delegation.

As Assemblymember (AD-52) put it: this moment belongs to the entire community. From the Eaton Fire to the Palisades Fire, legislators flew home, showed up, and fought.

And Altadena? You have an incredible champion in Assemblymember , who has been fighting for survivors in the budget and in the legislature every step of the way.

The goal isn’t just to rebuild what was lost. It’s to build something stronger. And once these families’ main homes are restored, they KEEP the back unit. Permanently.

We’re with you, Altadena. 🏠🔑

Assemblymember Juan Carrillo (AD39) joined fellow members of the LA County Legislative Delegation at the ADU Ribbon Cutting Ceremony in Altadena celebrating two families finally having a place to call home after the fires took everything.

Here’s how it happened 👇🏽

The Delegation saw what was building and knew they had to be part of it. They hosted a fire aid fundraiser and raised $100,000 in ONE WEEK. đź’°

That money built 2 brand new ADU units for 2 fire survivor families to live in while their homes are being rebuilt.

And once reconstruction is complete? Those families keep the back unit. Forever. 🙌🏽

Altadena is rebuilding. And the delegation is making sure it comes back stronger. 💪🏽🌟

Standing on what was once a dirt lot in Altadena and watching two families come home, that’s why we serve.

This is for Anna. This is for Carolyn. Welcome home. 🤍

The Eaton Fire took so much from this community. But the entire LA County Legislative Delegation made a promise: Altadena would come back stronger. Today, we kept that promise.

Shoutout to our Chair, Assemblymember Tina McKinnor , who made this a personal mission, every dollar, every conversation, every push with the SoLa Foundation to make these ADUs a reality. And to our Vice Chair, soon-to-be Supervisor Senator MarĂa Elena Durazo this is a team effort and it shows.

To the members behind me and those who couldn’t be here you carried Altadena on your shoulders and made today possible.

This is just the first step. We’re going to keep rebuilding.

Altadena, we’re not going anywhere. 💪🏽

“Welcome home means everything.” 🏠

Senator Maria Elena Durazo said it best on May 29th at the ribbon cutting in Altadena where two displaced wildfire survivors, Caroline and Anna, received ADU units on their own property so they can live there while they rebuild.

15 months. That’s how long they waited.

This is recovery in action. This is what fighting for your constituents looks like.

Proud of the entire LA County Legislative Delegation, Sola foundation, Labor community services, LA County Federation of labor, Shared harvest foundation, Greenline housing, Model Z, Tennex Builders, and everyone involved for making moments like this possible. 🧡
