This Memorial Day, please take a moment to reflect on the real reason for the day off and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our Nation's continued freedom. The day was formerly called Decoration Day for good reason, as folks would actually take the time to pay their respects to our fallen by laying flowers and flags at their graves. I for one, wouldn't mind if we changed the name back and focused on the real reason for the holiday. God Bless America 🇺🇸

Today we join communities across America and around the world as we honor and remember those who lost their lives on September 11th, 2001. We also recognize the families of those lost, those who were injured and the countless first responders and recovery workers who sacrificed so much in their efforts that day and in the days that followed. We remember, and we vow to never forget.
