We need $400 per student to find all the enrichment activities and supplies not covered by the district.
Did you know that Alta Vista does not receive funding for items such as classroom supplies, music, clay, art & field trips?? We rely 100% on family donations to support these activities! The AVHSC funds what is not otherwise funded by the district including crossing guards, field trips & buses, classroom supplies & activities, project cornerstone, music, multicultural night, community events, clay, art vistas, garden club, movie night, author visits, school t-shirts, olympic day, mileage club, class parties, variety show, and more!
