Village of Los Lunas Recreation Division Due to the extensive use of Village park facilities this division requires a permit in reserving a park for company socials, weddings, and community events.

y. Our commitment to the public is to provide excellent service by promoting quality of life services and programs for the well being of the community young and old. Reservation for birthday parties, family picnic’s are not required; however check with this office (352-7719) before you plan your family gathering due to pre-reserved community events. Information on fees for reserving or renting a facility can be obtained by contacting us through our website. Understand there are rules and regulations in using park/open space facilities that need to be followed; larger community events require a special event permit that require more detailed information.

Please do not park in the roadway in front of the Los Lunas Schools bus depot (marked in red on the map).

Vehicles parked in this area block the buses from getting in and out, which delays routes and impacts students getting to and from school safely and on time.

We appreciate your help in keeping this route clear.

UPDATE: Morris Road at Highway 314 Closure Extended

The closure of Morris Road at Highway 314 has been extended by about four weeks due to significant utility relocations that are outside the project team's control. The anticipated closure is expected to last through October 5, 2026. We apologize for the inconvenience.

The detour and all other details remain the same:

🚫 Traffic on Highway 314 will NOT be able to travel west onto Morris Road.
🚫 Traffic on Morris Road will NOT be able to access Highway 314.

To reach the Sports Complex, Badlands Drive-In, or the 13th Judicial District Court, please follow the designated detour:

➡️ Take Highway 314 to NM 6 (Main Street)
➡️ Travel west on NM 6/Main Street to Camelot Road
➡️ Travel south on Camelot Road to Morris Road
➡️ Travel east on Morris Road

🚧 ROAD CLOSURE: Morris Road at Highway 314 🚧

Starting Monday, August 24, crews will close the west side of Morris Road at Highway 314 for about two weeks.

If you're driving on Highway 314, you will not be able to turn west onto Morris Road.

To reach the Sports Complex, Badlands Drive-In, or 13th Judicial District Court, follow the detour:
Highway 314 → NM 6 (Main Street) → Camelot Road → east on Morris Road

Work hours are Monday–Friday, 7 a.m.–5:30 p.m., weather permitting and subject to change.
