HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM NOON TO 8 PM MDT TUESDAY

* WHAT...Temperatures up to 105 in valley locations and up to 95 in
the mountains are expected.

* WHERE...Middle Rio Grande Valley including the Albuquerque Metro
Area, Sandia and Manzano Mountains, including Edgewood, West Central
Highlands, Lower Rio Grande Valley, Upper Tularosa Valley, South
Central Mountains, Chaves County Plains, Eastern Lincoln County,
and Southwest Chaves County.

* WHEN...From noon to 8 PM MDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Temperatures will be hottest in Chaves County
and the Lower Rio Grande Valley (up to 105). Temperatures up to 100
expected in the Albuquerque area.

A resident at the 1700 block of North Los Lentes found this guy last night. He was turned over to ACOs this morning. Shelter has record of him being adopted about a month ago. The chip comes back to an address in Alb and the phone number is no good. He is currently located at the Valencia County Animal Shelter.
