⚠️ Power Outage Update ⚠️

Crews have identified another broken power pole on Steekee School Road. Personnel have been dispatched and are currently assessing the damage and making repairs.

We understand the inconvenience of being without power and appreciate your patience as crews work safely and efficiently to restore service as quickly as possible.

Please remember to stay far away from any downed power lines and treat all lines as energized. If you see a downed line, report it immediately through our Outage Management System or by calling 877-865-2091.

Our crews are currently assessing storm-related damage across the system. At this time, we have confirmed that a tree has fallen across Chota Road, causing a utility pole to break.

Crews are working to safely evaluate the extent of the damage and develop a restoration plan. Because assessment efforts are still underway, we do not yet have an estimated restoration time.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as our crews work as quickly and safely as possible.

⚠️ Power Outage Update ⚠️

This morning, 5/26/26, Loudon Utilities experienced storm damage after several trees broke and caused damage to power lines and poles. Crews have restored power to most customers; however, some areas will remain without power for several more hours while repairs are completed.

The outage area currently affects customers from River Rd. and Kingston St. to Butler Dr. as crews work to replace and repair two damaged utility poles.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as our crews work safely and as quickly as possible to restore power to all customers

Due to the severe weather moving through the area, we are currently experiencing scattered power outages across the system, including the New Macedonia area and Rarity Bay. Crews are actively working to restore power as safely and quickly as possible as conditions allow.

⚠️ Power Outage Notice ⚠️

Loudon Utilities is currently responding to a major power outage affecting Gun Ridge and the Lakeside area in Vonore.

A large tree fell and caused significant damage to utility poles and other electrical equipment, resulting in a loss of three-phase power. Crews are on site and working as quickly and safely as possible to restore service.

At this time, repairs are expected to take approximately 4–5 hours due to the extent of the damage and the restoration work required.

We understand the inconvenience this causes and greatly appreciate your patience and understanding while our crews work to safely restore power to the area. Thank you.
