The Storm Prediction Center and local NWS offices are monitoring the conditions to see if a Watch will be possible -- Tornado or Severe Thunderstorm.

I'll be honest: I'd be surprised if they don't issue a watch. Not because it "looks really bad" but rather because the NWS would rather keep folks safe and the easiest way to get people to be aware of the chance for storms is to issue a Watch.
