Louisa County Sheriff's Office K-9 Unit Welcome to the official page of the Louisa County Sheriff's Office K-9 Unit. This site is not monitored 24/7. Call 911 for all emergencies.

The Louisa County Sheriff's Office(LCSO) K-9 Unit consists of four K-9 teams. Three of which are dual purpose narcotic/patrol K-9's. They are certified in detecting the odor of illegal narcotics, building and area searches, apprehensions, handler protection, and tracking. The LCSO currently has one Bloodhound team. Bloodhounds are a single purpose K-9. They are used for man-tracking and search and
