Libraries strengthen democracy every day.

On June 13, 2026, we’ll host a livestream of TED Democracy Philadelphia: Founding Futures, bringing 15+ new TED Talks about democracy’s next chapter from the stage in Philadelphia directly to our community.

Presented in collaboration with Visit Philadelphia and partners nationwide, and sponsored by The Pew Charitable Trusts, this event connects local conversation to a national moment.

This livestream event is free to attend! RSVP here: https://lcplky.org/events/ted-democracy-live/

RSVP is not required, but will help us know how many may attend. Meeting room will open at 10:45AM, and the first TED Talk starts at 11AM.
