We are so grateful for our Educator of the Year, fifth grade teacher, Mrs. Halle, and our MVP of the Year, Mrs. Ellis. Both bring such value to our TJ Team each and every day. Mrs. Halle is masterful at delivering high quality instruction and forming lasting, meaningful relationships with her students and colleagues. We enjoyed celebrating our School Resource Officer, Deputy Votaw, today. Students presented our deputy with hand-made cards and gifts throughout the day, and of course Mr. Straley stopped by to say “thank you” as well. We are so grateful to her and the Louisa County Sheriff’s Office for partnering with us to keep all our Patriots safe! 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙

Today, a group of our Patriots had the honor of participating in a special event at the Lake Anna Food Lion for Louisa County first responders: fire, police, and EMS. Turning a day of sadness into one of remembrance and gratitude, our Patriots presented cards, notes, and pictures to our local heroes as a token of thanks for their service and dedication to our community. 🇺🇸

❤️ Here's some news that will make your heart HAPPY! ❤️ Today, our friend Marjorie Churchbourne with the American Heart Association stopped by Thomas Jefferson Elementary School to present our Patriots with the Heart of Gold Award! 🏆

This award means that TJES was one of the top 25 fundraising schools in a region of more than 150 schools! ⭐️ In total, TJES students, families, and staff raised $10,921 during the 2024-2025 school year! AMAZING!
