📰 🗞 📰 EXTRA EXTRA!!!!
Our Genealogy Department has completed an extensive digitization and archival project of the Big Sandy News. We are now the ✨ONLY✨ organization to house a complete digital collection of the newspaper from 1885 - 2022!

The site is free to use, user-friendly, and smart text searchable. Spend hours looking up articles about your family members, deeds, or other items of interest! If you liked the yearbook project, you'll enjoy this one too.

The complete newspaper collection is also available to view on microfilm at the library.

More information available here:

The Library of Congress’ Chronicling America project is a searchable collection of U.S. newspapers from 1777-1963. Included in the collection is the Big Sandy News from 1885-1922, and can be accessed here.
