TEXAS DEPUTIES SHOW TRUE SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY TO SWEDISH WORLD CUP FANS AFTER MINOR CRASH ON I-37

Five Swedish soccer fans road-tripping across North America in a rental RV for the World Cup hit a minor snag Thursday on Interstate 37 south of San Antonio.

Atascosa County Sheriff's deputies, led by Deputy Chief Eric Kaiser, responded quickly to the scene. Everyone was unhurt, and the officers made sure the group was safe, squared away, and back on the road.

The fans had a Swedish flag flying off the back of their RV and were chasing Sweden’s national team — already hitting matches in Monterrey, Mexico, with more stops planned in Houston and Los Angeles.

According to the sheriff’s office, the visitors were blown away by the help. They told deputies that back home, this kind of genuine Texas welcome is something they’d only seen in movies.

🚒 **Exciting Updates from Epsom Volunteer Fire Department!** 🚒

We’re excited to share two major projects that are currently underway to help us better serve the Epsom community for years to come.

🔴 **New Engine Update**
Our new **E-One fire engine** has officially entered production at the E-One factory in Florida! The apparatus is expected to be completed over the next few months, and we look forward to sharing progress updates as construction continues.

🏗️ **Station Expansion Project**
Construction has officially begun on our station expansion project. A new **drive-through apparatus bay** is being added to the station to provide a dedicated home for the new engine and improve our operational capabilities.

These projects represent a significant investment in the future of emergency services in our community, and we are grateful for the continued support from our residents, firefighters, and local leaders.

Many voters assume their ballot receives a postmark the day it is mailed.

Not necessarily.

Under current processing systems, postmarks may be applied later at regional facilities.

In close elections, timing matters.

Universal and no excuse vote by mail is a huge vulnerability to election integrity that must be repealed in every state.
