Louisburg, Fire Department crews are currently flowing and testing fire hydrants throughout the Town of Louisburg. This work is being completed to verify Hydrant performance, maintenance, maintain reliable water supplies for firefighting operations and prepare for the towns upcoming ISO inspection •• Residents and businesses may temporarily experience, discolored or cloudy water, minor fluctuations in water pressure, water flowing along streets or near hydrants. if you notice discolored water allow your cold water faucets to run for several minutes until the water clears. Please use caution when traveling near crews and avoid driving through areas where hydrant water is flowing. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we complete this important work to help protect our community Louisburg Fire Department.
