There are 43 new bestsellers, five new audiobooks, 620 new children's books, and 147 other new books, including 34 that are available online.

The new bestsellers this week include "Whistler," "The Calamity Club," and "Land."

Are you ready for the most T-REXCELLENT Summer Reading Program ever??? 🦖🦕🦖 Join us next week at the branch of your choice as we kickoff Summer Reading 2026 with a Jurassic-sized party for all ages! This year's theme is "Unearth a Story" and we'll have plenty of Dino games and activities on hand to make signing up for SRP as fun as possible. 🦕🎊🦖 Make sure your summer is the TriceraTOPS ✔️and not a TriceraFLOP ❌ by partying with us next week!

ADULTS! Our Sit & Stitch programs back in January were so popular that we've brought them back as Open Craft Hour this June! Join us at the location and date of your choice for a chill community crafting session. We will have supplies on hand, but you're welcome to bring whatever you're currently working on. Things kick off this Thursday in Youngsville, but there are three other opportunities to participate throughout the month. See you there!

TEENS! Get ready to learn all about henna tattoos at your local Franklin County library this June! Join us at the Louisburg and Youngsville branches as artist Gayatri Rambilli details the history and traditions of henna. You can even get your very own henna tattoo if you choose! Things kick off on Thursday, June 11th at Louisburg Library at 4pm. This program is FREE, but space is limited, so be sure to email us at [email protected] to register. See you there!

TOUCH-A-TRUCK IS ALMOST HERE!!!!! Join us this Saturday, May 30 from 2-4 p.m. at Louisburg Magnet High School for a Touch-a-Truck event hosted by the Library and Parks and Recreation! Come get an up-close look at the vehicles used by our community helpers and more! 🚛🚚🛻🚐🚒

In need of FREE legal resources? Our partnership with Legal Aid NC will continue through the months of May and July, and Franklinton Library is the next stop! They will share information about their organization, some free legal resources available, and offer a private meeting space inside the beautiful LANC mobile. Appointments are not needed—just drop in to get connected!
