ROLL CALL TUESDAY! 🇺🇸🥵🥵
I'm not in Alaska anymore, what did I come home to? We had a great family meet me at 9am and it was already HOT. Ann and John showed up shortly after. By 11:30 it was unmanageable in the warehouse.

I had a request for furniture while I was gone for a veteran and I'm having trouble retrieving the contact. If you know of a veteran in need of household goods please reach back.

We have a lot going on every day, and I have had a lot of calls last week that I'm just now getting the notifications for. When on the ship I had to use airplane mode and WiFi so calls were disabled.

Please don't feel like I ignored a call last week. Just call me again now. When I get a notification today I'm calling right back.

Two were good news call, a veteran we helped got increased to 100% and another 90%. Always feels good we could help them. Thursday we will be at Fort Knox for a community resource event. Travis and I will be there sharing what we do.

Jesse was one of the most Patriotic people I have ever known. And it was his request that I promise to HELP ONE PERSON EVERY DAY. In the military we love acronyms and it never occurred that this has one too. A friend from the cruise pointed it out.

Roll Call Sunday🇺🇸🛫
Today is back to reality day. It's been a great trip and it's time to get back to helping out the ones that need it. Things to get ready for is wearing on me too. 9/11 25 Years Later, BCWRESTLING JESSE SCHOTT MEMORIAL SHOW, and 3rd Annual Roll Call of Veterans Powwow, October 2026!

Need to spend time with Steve since I missed the funeral. Need to spend time with Robby and Corby. Need some BOSS time too. And of course just some RCF Family Time.

Take time to praise the one who gives us all our blessings. Happy Sunday Everyone. Home in 12 hours.

ROLL CALL SATURDAY🇺🇸🛳️
Made it back to Seattle and to Louisville tomorrow. Not sure when I'd be back over here so took an extra night. Been watching the "Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital staff ferry back across Elliott Bay to go home after long shifts". 😉
At least that's what all the GA fans imagine here.

Sitting on the Pier at the Ferris Wheel wondering how did I eat at ship buffet so much? Going home to an empty kitchen and refrigerator may make the transition harder.

There was a lot of calls for assistance on my voicemail when I got service. So I have asked them if we can talk on Tuesday.

ROLL CALL FRIDAY🇺🇸🛳️🫡🔴
It's Wear RED Friday even while cruising back towards the lower 48 today. Alaskan Cruise part is over, saw beautiful landscapes, bald eagles in their environment watching the waterways, whales, sea otters and harbor seals, salmon running in Ketchikan, a suspension bridge (1 and done), king crab and many hours with family and friends. Saw an Air Force buddy yesterday on the ship and his wife. He's enjoying his retirement in Florida. Met Jay the first time in 1985 or 86 during and wing exercise. He was responsible for Casualty Reporting in the Command Post where I also worked. Always a true friend. Hoping to find him today and talk some more.

Trevor is stationed in Washington State, and last night we got a text of a really pretty sunset from his house, so we thought. No it was a new wild fire. Airplanes dropped water and he should be safe.

Many thank you's to the volunteers who managed to keep ROLL CALL afloat at home this week. What a blessing.

Back Monday to getting 100's of missed calls while in airplane mode WiFi .

ROLL CALL THURSDAY🇺🇸🛳️🙏
This morning we have our Roll Call Family saying final goodbyes to a wife and another a best friend and fellow retired police officer.

I feel horrible I can't be there for Steve and Robbie as they say goodbye to Julie. She struggled for so long. Now she's able to rest peacefully.

And to Robbie and Corby as they also say goodbye to a friend who was like a brother. Curtis also struggled for sometime, and they were always right there at treatments and home helping.

We love you all and want you to know I'm thinking about you. When I get back we will have that big man hug because it's what we need.

Prayers for them all please.

Roll Call Wednesday 🇺🇸🛳️
I'm still in the Alaska Passage of Glacier Bay. At home the Piecemakers were doing their part by continuing to create pillow cases for deployed and blankets for veterans in the hospitals.
The volunteers have been doing the mission everyday while I'm away.

Heard the glacier move and it was mistaken for a low flying aircraft like we'd hear in Louisville.

Wanted to share some images I have been able to enjoy. Have a great day. When I'm back next week we will be busy getting our 9/11 remembrance ready, BCWRESTLING JESSE SCHOTT MEMORIAL SHOW, and 3rd Annual Roll Call of Veterans Powwow, October 2026!

Getting away is fun but grateful that others help carry things on. Yesterday I got to sit and chat with a veteran and his wife was excited to tell her daughter about us.
