Mental Health Matters!!

It’s hard to understand what is going on inside of someone’s head who is struggling with a mental health problem. It has come so far, but there is still a lot of stigma about asking for help when you are going through something. HS 2 brought to life different mental illnesses by an art project that explained what someone might feel like if they were struggling internally. Great job guys!

Some of the issues that we discussed are depression, schizophrenia, phobias, OCD, ADHD, anxiety, self harm, su***de, domestic violence victims, and addiction. Always check on your family and friends and be a listening ear when they are in need.

Congratulations to our HOSA members who placed at district competition and competed at State level on March 4-6. Four of the students placed 2nd in State competing in the HOSA bowl! We are so proud of all of our competitors. We had a great time!

A few reminders! Miss photogenic voting ends at 1:00! We will be checking the posts then and the contestant with the most likes/loves will be announced on stage!

$5 entry fee at the door

People's choice voting will be located at the back of the auditorium. The contestant in each age group with the most money donated in her honor will be crowned on stage!
