Louisville Fire and Rescue 2026 Midyear Call Summary
Calls Answered
• Fire calls: 14
• 911 EMS calls: 71
Louisville Fire and Rescue thanks our part-time EMS employees and our volunteers for answering these calls and providing this important service to the citizens of Barbour County.
Overview
We currently operate a part-time, paid ALS service Monday through Friday for 10 hours per day. We have applied for grants to help improve the level of service we are able to provide.
At this time, we do not provide transports because we have only one ambulance, which is reserved for 911 calls. Our service is supported through insurance reimbursements and fundraisers, and we gratefully accept donations from anyone who wishes to contribute.
Please join us in thanking Mayor Mark Andrews and the Town Council for their continued support in helping provide this service to our citizens.
