With many families spending longer stretches at the hospital, our Family Room at Norton Women’s & Children’s Hospital has become an especially important place to pause, breathe, and feel supported. Around a new puzzle table and coloring pages, mothers have found more than a way to pass the time. They have found moments of calm, meaningful conversations, and encouragement from others who understand the weight of a long hospital day.
These moments may feel small, but they are an important part of caring for the whole family. Every puzzle piece, conversation, meal, and moment of rest can make a difficult day feel a little lighter and remind families they are not alone.
