Know a family with questions about the ? Point them to these multilingual Census hotlines for answers and legal assistance. Census workers begin knocking on doors on August 11. Encourage people to self-respond before then. The phone response is available in multiple languages. Learn more at www.countmeinky2020.com.

REMINDER: There is NO citizenship or immigration status question on the Non-citizens have been included in the census and for congressional representation throughout our nation’s history, under both Republican & Democratic administrations. The Constitution says we must count the whole number of persons (not citizens) living here

Today marks the 40th anniversary of the Refugee Act of 1980.

"On March 17, 1980 President Jimmy Carter signed the Refugee Act into law, and with it, established the US Refugee Admissions Program and codified the right to asylum." - Refugee Council USA

We were looking forward to celebrating the 7th annual Refugee and Immigrant Day at the Capitol in Frankfort today, but we can still celebrate and advocate from afar! Our staff remains committed to making Kentucky a welcoming place for all.
