The Bhutanese American Hindu Society, in collaboration with Jiwan Bigyan and with the support of BSK as one of the valued community partner organizations, warmly invites all community members to join a special spiritual and community event.
Join a sacred week of Chakra Sadhana, a journey inward through meditation, breathwork, mantra, and energy alignment.
Whether you are new to chakra work or experienced in spiritual practice, all are welcome.
Together, let us come forward as one community to learn, grow, and inspire each other.

The entire Bhutanese Society of Kentucky (BSK) is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of our senior community member, Mr. Bal Bdr Rai.
Late Mr. Rai was born in Tsirang, Bhutan, in 1953 and passed away on May 11, 2026, at the age of 73. Born and raised in Bhutan, he left the country in the early 1990s and lived for 21 years in the Pathri Morang (Sanischare) refugee camp in Nepal. Through the resettlement program, Late Mr. Rai and his family were resettled in Houston, Texas, United States, in 2013. In 2015, the family moved to Louisville, Kentucky. Most recently, Late Mr. Rai was residing at 6811 Green Manor Dr., Louisville, KY 40228.
BSK extends its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family for this irreparable loss caused by the passing of Late Mr. Rai.
During this time of mourning, we pray that God grants eternal peace to the departed soul and gives Bal and the entire family the strength and courage to endure this profound sorrow.

सिंगो केन्टकी भुटानी समाज (BSK) हाम्रो समुदाय एक ज्येष्ठ सदस्य श्री बल बहादुर राईको निधनको खबरले अत्यन्त दुःखी भएको छ।स्वर्गीय श्री राईको जन्म सन् १९५३ मा भुटानको चिराङमा भएको थियो र उहाँको निधन मे ११, २०२६ मा ७३ वर्षको उमेरमा भयो। भुटानमा जन्मी हुर्किनुभएका उहाँले सन् १९९० को प्रारम्भतिर भुटान छोड्नुभएको थियो र नेपालको पथरी मोरङ (सनिश्चरे) शरणार्थी शिविरमा २१ वर्षसम्म बसोबास गर्नुभएको थियो। पुनर्वास कार्यक्रममार्फत स्वर्गीय श्री राई आफ्नो परिवारसहित सन् २०१३ मा अमेरिकाको टेक्सास राज्यस्थित ह्युस्टन शहरमा पुनर्वास हुनुभएको थियो। त्यसपछि सन् २०१५ मा उहाँ परिवारसहित केन्टकी राज्यको लुइसभिलमा बसाइँ सर्नु भएको थियो । पछिल्लो समय स्वर्गीय श्री राई 6811 Green Manor Dr., Louisville, KY 40228 मा बसोबास गर्दै आउनुभएको थियो।
श्री राईको निधनबाट परिवारमा परेको अपूरणीय क्षतिप्रति BSK हार्दिक समवेदना व्यक्त गर्दछ।
शोकको यस घडीमा, दिवंगत आत्माको चिरशान्तिको कामना गर्दै परमेश्वरले सुक तथा सम्पूर्ण परिवारलाई यो गहिरो दुःख सहने शक्ति प्रदान गरून् भन्ने प्रार्थना गर्दछौं।

The entire Bhutanese Society of Kentucky (BSK) family is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Dev Neupane. Mr. Neupane had been missing since 2019 from Columbus, and it was recently discovered that he is no longer with us.

The thirteen day funeral rituals will be performed by his family from May 13 through May 24 at:

Louisville, KY 40291

During this time of mourning, we pray that God grants eternal peace to the departed soul and gives Dev’s family the strength to endure this profound sorrow.

BSK also urges community members to come forward and support the Neupane family during these funeral rituals and this difficult time.

भूटानी समाज केन्टकी परिवार देव न्यौपानेको निधनको खबरले अत्यन्त दुःखी भएको छ। श्री न्यौपाने सन् २०१९ देखि Columbus बाट हराइरहनुभएको थियो, र हालै उहाँ अब यस संसारमा नरहनुभएको पुष्टि भएको छ।

उहाँको परिवारद्वारा तेह्र दिने काज-कृया कर्म मे १३ देखि मे २४ सम्म निम्न ठेगानामा सम्पन्न हुनेछ।

The entire Bhutanese Society of Kentucky(BSK)is deeply saddened to learn about the passing of Kumar Gurung, respected brother of Suk Gurung who has been actively serving in Bhutanese Buddhist Society of Kentucky as a Secretary.
Late Gurung was born in Singhi Block Sarpang Bhutan in 1982. Lt. Gurung was left behind in Pathri Sanischare Camp when all rest of his family got resettlled in the United States. He passed away in refugee Camp but all his family lives in the United States and his rituals will be held in his brothers house at 710 Framingham Road Louisville KY 40243 , March 31st being the last day.
BSK extends its heartfelt condolences for the irreparable loss suffered by the family due to the passing of Lt.Gurung.
During this time of mourning, we pray that God grants eternal peace to the departed soul and gives Suk and his entire family the strength to endure this profound sorrow.

The entire Bhutanese Society of Kentucky(BSK)is deeply saddened by the tragic news of the passing of the respected father of Mr. Kapil Kharel who has been actively serving BSK as a treasurer since 2025.
Father Padma Lal Kharel was born in Sunkosh, Chanaute Tsherang Bhutan. Lt. Kharel moved to Jhapa Nepal Beldangi-2 G/2 in 1992 and he got resettlled in Nashville TN in August 2008, and later moved to Louisville KY in May 2022.
BSK extends its heartfelt condolences for the irreparable loss suffered by the family due to the passing of beloved father.
During this time of mourning, we pray that God grants eternal peace to the departed soul and gives Kapil and his entire family the strength to endure this profound sorrow.

The entire B.S.K. family is deeply saddened by the tragic news of the passing of the respected father of Mr. Bom Ghising, who has been actively serving the community as a volunteer with B.S.K. since 2025.
Father Krishna Bir Tamang was born in Ramechhap Nepal and later moved to Bhutan. Lt. Tamang was from Beldangi-2 extension and he got resettlled in the United States in 2011. Lately Lt. Tamang was the resident of Columbus Ohio.
B.S.K. extends its heartfelt condolences for the irreparable loss suffered by the family due to the passing of beloved father.
During this time of mourning, we pray that God grants eternal peace to the departed soul and gives Bom and his entire family the strength to endure this profound sorrow.
