For this year's RootsTech Conference (March 2-4), the SAR Genealogical Research Library is co-hosting two hands-on workshops on antique photography and how to care for them - held at the Family History Library in SLC! Also, our Library Director will be giving 6 sessions in total for 2023! https://rootstech2023.mapyourshow.com/8_0/sessions/speaker-details.cfm?speakerid=3 For those of you thinking about attending the on-site sessions in SLC (you can attend some sessions in person & some sessions virtually) - there are several contests going on to win a full three day pass for the on-site only sessions. On Oct. 11, 1890, four women—Mary Desha, Mary S. Lockwood, Ellen Walworth and Eugenia Washington—founded the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution. More than 130 years and over one million Daughters later, we remember these visionary women with gratitude. The Daughters of yesterday, today and tomorrow are tied together in service and friendship because of their courage and patriotism.
