Hello, Hilltopper Families! We have a few updates:

Today, please watch for two things we are sending home: Report Cards and BESS Screener Opt Out Forms.

The BESS Screener is required in the state of Kentucky and is a mental health screener that students complete annually. You can find more information on the form. You only need to return the form with a signature if you DO NOT want your child to participate.

Lastly, some 8th grade students presented a petition to Mrs. Strite with 150 signatures requesting to wear pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month tomorrow. Mrs. Strite was so impressed with their proposal that she approved it. Students can wear pink tops (hoodies are OK) and uniform bottoms/shoes tomorrow!

Congratulations! We are celebrating our KSA scores and shouting out the success of our students, staff, and families! It takes true partnership to help our students find success. Test scores are only one way to measure the amazing growth that happens here, but we are proud to see the hard work showing up in these results. We will keep working to make sure EVERY Barret student is able to find their own greatness because we ! Congratulations, Hilltoppers!
