Summer is getting started in style for the Downtown Boulder Ambassadors.

Block by Block is proud to sponsor one of the cars on the Tebo Train. The train is 100% electric and 100% free for the community. The train runs Monday through Friday from 9:30-11:00 a.m. and is a summer staple for the kids in Boulder.

Best of all, the train is conducted by our very own Downtown Boulder Ambassadors. So ALL ABOARD! 🚂

Community Response Officers are now serving alongside Block by Block Ambassadors in the Short North Arts District in Columbus.

These highly trained, unarmed officers are helping enhance safety in the district by complementing — not replacing — law enforcement during high-activity evening hours.

Their mission is to:
✅ Reduce disorderly conduct
✅ Improve response times to safety and quality-of-life concerns
✅Strengthen coordination with law enforcement, businesses, and district partners
✅ Help create a safer, more welcoming environment for residents, workers, and visitors

By working together to provide services, Block by Block Ambassadors and Civicity Community Resource Officers help create safer, cleaner, and more welcoming public spaces for everyone who lives, works, and visits the district.

We’re proud to launch Civicity in the Short North and look forward to our Community Response Officers making a positive impact through their visible presence, proactive engagement, and commitment to public safety.

We’re excited to announce the launch of a new Ambassador Program in partnership with Downtown Reno Partnership . The team will be performing a variety of duties, including cleaning, hospitality, and homeless outreach, helping make the district safer, cleaner, and more welcoming for everyone who lives, works, and visits downtown.

Through a visible daily presence, the Ambassadors will help enhance the overall experience in the district while supporting the ongoing efforts to create a vibrant and welcoming downtown environment.

We’re proud to partner with the Downtown Reno Partnership and look forward to making a lasting impact in the community.

Jack Morris has been honored with the Cape Fear Council of Governments 2026 Homeless Services Regional Impact Award — a well-deserved recognition of the impact he’s making in our community.

In his role as an Outreach Coordinator for Wilmington Downtown, Jack brings dedication, compassion, and persistence to work that requires all three. Outreach isn’t easy — it’s built on trust, consistency, and showing up day after day, even when progress comes in small steps. Jack understands that meaningful change doesn’t happen overnight. It’s achieved through steady effort, strong relationships, and a commitment to the people being served.

What makes Jack’s work especially impactful is his collaborative approach. He works closely with service providers, law enforcement, EMS, and community partners — because lasting solutions require a team effort. He meets individuals where they are, without judgment, and focuses on small wins that build momentum over time.

Cleaning our community — one block at a time.

Team members from Block by Block headquarters recently rolled up their sleeves and took to the streets in Downtown Louisville for Louisville Clean Up Day to make a hands-on impact in the community we serve.

Armed with gloves, pickers, brooms, and dustpans, our team worked together to remove litter and refresh public spaces that thousands of people experience every day. These efforts may seem simple, but they play an important role in how a space feels — clean, cared for, and welcoming.

At Block by Block, we understand that maintaining vibrant public spaces goes beyond daily operations. It’s about showing up, taking pride in our surroundings, and contributing to the overall experience of the community.

We’re proud of our team for stepping in, working together, and demonstrating the kind of commitment that helps keep Downtown Louisville looking its best.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in Boston for our Connect & Share Manager Meeting.

Every other year, we bring together our Operations Managers and Corporate Staff from across the country to learn from one another, share best practices, and take a deeper dive into our operations. Over three days, this year’s meeting created space for meaningful conversations, collaboration, and practical insights that strengthen the work we do every day.

Guided by our theme, “All In: Growing Public Spaces Together,” we focused on our continued evolution as a public space company — serving not only downtown districts, but a wide range of environments across the communities we support.

The meeting also gave us the opportunity to experience Boston firsthand and see our teams in action. We’re grateful for the warm welcome and partnership from our teams on the ground, as well as our customers at the Downtown Boston Alliance Ambassadors, Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy, Seaport, and the MBTA.
