Welcome Wednesday!

Last week, this sweet couple finalized the adoption of Amelia Grace! Congratulations, Corey and Matt! We’re so grateful you shared your story with the Adoption Assistance family.

“August 20 will forever be the day our world fully clicked into place, we finalized! Bringing Amelia Grace into our lives hasn't just added a new member to our home; it has transformed our entire sense of purpose and completion. After all the anticipation, the waiting, and the preparation, holding her in our arms brought a profound clarity: this is the piece of our hearts that was missing all along.

Matt and I (Corey) look at her and see our past hope, our present joy, and our entire future wrapped up in one precious girl. The laughter in our home feels richer, the daily moments carry deeper meaning, and the love we share as a couple has expanded exponentially to wrap around our daughter. It’s Welcome Wednesday!

Today, we’re so excited to introduce you to Ryan, Kayla, and Stella, whose adoption was finalized earlier this month!

Ryan and Kayla have an open adoption with Stella’s birth mother, and they communicate with her frequently—something we’re so happy to celebrate as part of Stella’s story.

Tomorrow is the day!

We can't wait to see everyone at our Annual Adoption Assistance Picnic at Gallrein Farms in Shelbyville, KY, from 11:30–2:00 EST.

Don't forget your sunscreen, lawn chairs, and blankets! Lunch will be provided!

All are welcome - whether you're just beginning your adoption journey, currently in the process, or have already welcomed your child home, you're invited! We'd love for you to join us for an afternoon of fun and connection with other adoptive and waiting families.

Supporting expectant mothers goes beyond the adoption journey. While adoption agencies can assist with certain living expenses, we also strive to help during other times of need whenever we can.

Today, we had the privilege of helping an expectant mother provide school supplies for her children as they prepare for the new school year. Small acts of support can make a meaningful difference, and we're grateful for the opportunity to serve families in our community.

It' that time of the week - Welcome Wednesday!

Today, we're excited to introduce Julian and celebrate his beautiful adoption story! Thank you Logan and Meghan for sharing your adoption story with us.

"We began our adoption journey with Adoption Assistance in early 2025. Everyone was so helpful and kind. Our social worker, Lisa, was incredible. Even after we were matched with a birth mother through an attorney, she continued to check in and give us advice throughout our adoption journey. We were holding our sweet baby boy a little over a year after our home study was completed, and we are so thankful to everyone at Adoption Assistance who helped us along our journey."

Stories like Logan and Meghan's remind us that every adoption journey is unique, and we're honored to walk alongside families every step of the way.

"We very unexpectedly experienced two failed adoptions in the past 7 months; and then also very unexpectedly, we matched exactly two weeks after our most recent disruption with a baby born that day! We are so thankful that Jakari is now a part of our family! We are also very thankful for the support of Adoption Assistance and to the many friends and family who helped make this adoption journey possible!"

We want to start the week with a feel-good story!

Every adoption story is unique. Some adoptions are open, some are closed, and many fall somewhere in between.

Today, we're sharing the adoption stories of biological sisters, Mollie and Amelia. Though they were adopted by different mothers, the girls continue to share a special bond as siblings.

This past weekend, both adoptive mothers brought their daughters together to visit their birth mother. Their birthmother could not have been more excited or grateful for the opportunity, and it is clear how deeply she loves both girls. Their birth mother has graciously given permission for her photo to be shared.
