Severe storms w/ strong & damaging winds up to 70mph likely w/ hail up to a 1/4 inch for all areas of MS today. 1-3PM for w of I-55, btwn 3-6PM for areas east of I-55.

No major changes to tonight's forecast. Severe thunderstorms, capable of producing tornadoes and damaging wind gusts to 70 mph, will sweep across the area this evening. Strong tornadoes are possible. Be prepared to take quick action if a warning is issued for your area.

Saturday TARGET AREA is for renegade supercells to develop along prefrontal confluence bands in northern Mississippi into western Tennessee! Low-level wind shear will become extreme ahead of a deepening surface low. Fast-moving intense QLCS tornadoes likely along the squall line kicker.
