🎯Attention Winston County Taxpayers! 🎯🎯🎯

The last day to pay your 2025 property taxes is August 28, 2026.

Please don’t let your property go to the land sale. As your Tax Assessor, I want to help you protect your property from being auctioned.

đź“… Land Sale: August 31, 2026

If your property is sold at the land sale, it may be redeemed through the Chancery Clerk’s Office. After the applicable redemption period, state-mandated fees will be added, which can significantly increase the amount you owe—potentially nearly doubling the cost.

Please take care of your taxes before the August 28 deadline and protect your property.

If you have questions or need assistance, please contact our office 662-773-3694.

Winston County Tax Sale Approaching

Natasha Walker, Tax Assessor/Collector, is pleased to announce that Winston County’s Tax Sale for delinquent 2025 taxes will be conducted exclusively online. The auction hosted by GovEase will begin on August 31, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. CST and will continue each day until all parcels have been offered for sale. The sale will be a live bid auction hosted at http://govease.com/auctions.
Online registration began on August 3rd, 2026. After registration, an individual must still arrange payment and verify registration with the county. This process must be completed prior to any bidding.
As required by law, delinquent parcels are to be published in the Winston County Journal twice prior to the sale. Names are printed to give awareness, names are not printed in the newspaper to embarrass taxpayers. “The goal is to make taxpayers aware of outstanding balances.” If ignored the landowner could possibly lose their property.
The Tax Assessor’s office will be open, Saturday, August 29th from 8:30 am – 12:30 pm to help anyone pre-bid and to answer any questions the public may have concerning delinquent taxes. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Natasha Walker or her staff for further details. The tax office hours are Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm, phone number is 662-773-3694.
