This free event is designed for individuals and families who are new to canoeing to experience the water in safe and stable big canoes which hold 6 people!. All safety equipment and trained staff are provided. Wear comfortable outdoor clothing that can get wet; no flip flops please.

Participants must weigh a minimum of 50lbs. Life jacket fit is determined by staff. Personal life jackets are not permitted.

Participants under the age of 18 MUST have a waiver signed by a parent/legal guardian.

No advanced sign-ups required.

FREE and open to public.

Join us for Fall in Love with Louisville Parks & Recreation on September 22 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Dance the night away with friends and family to fall-inspired music while enjoying food trucks and drinks from West Sixth Brewing.

Tomorrow is our Project Parkway event at Joe Creason Park! We are getting all setup today for the festivities, and even had a practice run of the fashion show. See a sneak peak of some of the artwork below!

Come on out and enjoy an evening of music, art vendors, free crafts for the kids, our first fashion show in a park, food provided by HurriKanes Food Truck and drinks from Trellis Brewing 🎶

Some of our vendors include Vintage Banana Clothing, barretbabes, A Colorful Journey, and more! We'll also have free art supplies for kids to take home.

A special thank you to our vendors, volunteers, partners, and staff whose hard work and dedication made this event possible. ⚽We're making futsal more accessible in Louisville! We are excited to announce the new mini-pitch at Beechmont Community Center. In partnership with Mayor Craig Greenberg, the U.S. Soccer Foundation, and the LouCity & Racing Foundation, Louisville Parks and Recreation has installed an elevated space for community members to play futsal.
