Tonight’s result was not the outcome we hoped for, but I leave this race with no regrets and with deep gratitude for every person who believed in this campaign. Together, we built something rooted in dignity, courage, and the belief that working people deserve leaders willing to fight for them every single day.

The issues that brought us here will remain our battle cry going forward. We deserve affordable housing, fair wages, quality healthcare, public education, and a democracy inclusive of all voices.

My commitment to this community and the people will never change, and the work doesn’t stop! Thank you for trusting me, organizing with me, and reminding me that hope is still alive in Louisville and across our Commonwealth.

Today I proudly exercised my right to vote in the primary election. As a candidate for District 43, I believe in leading by example and making sure our voices are heard.

I was also proud to bring my baby girl with me so she can grow up understanding the importance of making your voice heard.
