The Tri-State CASA Conference in Chattanooga was a meaningful opportunity for our staff to connect with other CASA programs across Kentucky, Tennessee, and Georgia. We shared experiences, learned from one another, and celebrated the important work happening in our communities.

🚗 Help us keep CASA on the road! Did you know Kentucky’s CASA specialty license plate could be discontinued in 2027 without 330 more registrations by the end of 2026? 🚗

For just $44, you can help keep the plate in production while spreading awareness of CASA’s mission to advocate for children who have experienced abuse or neglect.

💙 Here’s how you can help:
📍 Purchase a CASA specialty plate at your local county clerk’s office.
📣 Share this post and encourage friends and family to get one, too!

The plate must be purchased in person initially, but it can be renewed online each year. If your county clerk doesn’t have one in stock, they can order it!

KCN staff, local CASA program staff, and volunteers from across Kentucky have enjoyed connecting and learning at the 30th Prevent Child Abuse Kentucky (PCAK) Kids Are Worth It! Conference. Kids are absolutely worthy of a consistent, caring adult and we are proud of CASA volunteers and staff across Kentucky that work tirelessly to fill that need!

When Jenny Lawson was little, all she ever wanted was to fit in. That dream was cut short by her fantastically unbalanced father and a morbidly eccentric childhood. It did, however, open up an opportunity for Lawson to find the humor in the strange shame-spiral that is her life, and we are all the better for it. For every intellectual misfit who thought they were the only ones to think the things that Lawson dares to say out loud, this is a poignant and hysterical look at the dark, disturbing, yet wonderful moments of our lives.
