Kentucky Homeowners

Flooding is one of the most common and destructive natural disasters that can affect homeowners, and the recent events in Kentucky serve as a stark reminder of how crucial flood insurance is for peace of mind and protection. During the weekend of February 15th and 16th, 2025, a prolonged period of heavy rain wreaked havoc across the state.

The financial toll of these disasters can be catastrophic. Home repairs, lost belongings, and temporary relocation costs can add up quickly. Without flood insurance, homeowners face costly repairs and losses alone.

Flooding is a growing threat across Kentucky, and recent events have proven just how quickly disaster can strike. Don't leave your home vulnerable. Call us for a flood quote even if you have flood insurance you may be able to save on the cost of insurance with new Private Insurance plans that are available.

The Rise of Billion-Dollar Disasters

New reports from NOAA indicate that the cost and frequency of extreme weather and climate disasters have dramatically increased in recent years. In the first ten months of 2023, we have already experienced an exceptional surge in billion-dollar weather and climate disasters, with an unprecedented 23 distinct events taking place.

These events are not confined to specific geographic areas; billion-dollar disasters have impacted all 50 states. The Midwest was specifically plagued with multiple severe storms that resulted in damaging floods. Missouri, Illinois and Indiana experienced the most severe impact with damage also felt in many surrounding states. In July, historic flash floods occurred across portions of Kentucky and Illinois after areas received rainfall totals up to 12 inches, causing significant damage.
