A big shout out to Good Samaritan AirCare and Apollo MedFlight for coming out this evening for training. We had classroom training on landing zones and then they each brought their "birds" so we could practice helping them load and unload patients. A very informative class.

Congratulations to Asia Obermiller on winning the drawing tonight for our 2026 Polaris Ranger Raffle. We would like to say Thank You to everyone who supported our department with purchasing tickets to our drawing this year. All money raised goes to helping update equipment we use through out the year on all our calls.

We have great news to share! Loup City-Ashton-Rockville Coop Ambulance is officially an ALS transport service! Currently we have 6 certified providers that will now be able to administer/perform advanced medications and procedures that in the past have had to wait for an intercept from other services!

*If an ALS provider is unavailable we will operate at the BLS level for any calls*

We are incredibly grateful to Black Hills Energy for selecting Loup City Fire as a recipient of a Funds for Firefighters grant. With this grant we will be purchasing a new SuperVac Positive Pressure Fan for ventilation. This generous support will help us enhance safety for our firefighters and the community we proudly serve.
Investments like these provide critical resources that allow us to better prepare for emergencies and protect lives and property. Thank you, Black Hills Energy, for your partnership, your commitment to local communities, and your belief in the important work of volunteer firefighters. We truly appreciate your support!
