National Crime Victims’ Rights Week began Sunday, and we pause to recognize those in our community impacted by crime. Our thoughts remain with every individual and family who has faced these difficult experiences.

We also recognize the dedicated work of our Victim Services team. In moments when support matters most, they provide compassion, guidance, and access to critical resources.

Last year, they provided crisis assistance more than 1,000 times, met with over 450 individuals in person, and supported countless others through phone calls and ongoing care.

We are grateful for Ashley Stevenson and our Victim Advocates for the professionalism and empathy they bring to this work each day. We also thank the City of Loveland for the recent proclamation recognizing and supporting those in our community who have been subjected to criminal behavior.

Our department remains committed to preventing crime, supporting victims, and serving the Sweetheart City with care and purpose.

Happy Easter to All!

I hope you all are having a fantastic weekend celebrating this blessed holiday. While I understand that many do not believe in Christ, I do and I will never hide it.

I’m proud and lucky to be serving the city of Loveland, and this amazing town I’ve grown up in for the last 30+ years. Thank you Ward 4, I will continue to give this position all I’ve got.

Be safe and enjoy this holiday!

The Loveland Police Department awards did not disappoint. A huge shoutout to our boys and girls in blue, all the administrative staff, the dispatch staff, the citizens that took action in times of crisis and all the volunteers.

Thank you all for putting your time on the line and most importantly, putting your life on the line to keep this community safe!

If you haven’t made it to a “Issues on Tap,” conversation hosted at Verboten I’m encouraging you to do so. Contact the Loveland Chamber of Commerce for more info.

A few months ago I campaigned on Townhalls as a way to bridge the communication/transparency gap between council and the public. I, and many others have noticed there isnt a constructive opportunity to conduct candid/unedited conversations. At council meetings you(the public) have a chance to give public comment but city council can only respond by asking “clarifying questions,” so there isn’t really any dialogue.

With that said, my campaign promise is currently being fulfilled. I look forward to many more.
