Riders, bus services will be available on Monday, Jan. 19, for Martin Luther King Jr. Day; however, C**T offices will be closed.

All City offices and most facilities will be closed on Monday, Jan. 19, 2026, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Some service schedules will also be altered. Here's the info:

❌ All City administrative offices will be closed. Utility payments can be dropped off or made online (find payment options at lovgov.org/UtilityBilling). Pulse Fiber Internet customers can contact 970-744-4226 for 24/7/365 technical support.

🗑️ Trash Collection
ℹ️ Collection for residential curbside trash and recycling will be delayed by one day after the holiday. The Recycling Center will be closed (they're usually closed on Mondays).

🚌 Transportation
✅ City of Loveland Transit (C**T) bus service will be operational; however, C**T offices will be closed.

✅ Chilson Senior Center will be open.
✅ Golf Loveland will be open.
✅ Visitors Center off of US 34 will be open.

City of Loveland Transit (C**T) is expanding service with three brand-new bus stops in the Town of Johnstown near the Johnstown Plaza Shopping Center, making it easier than ever to get around northern Colorado.

Starting Monday, Dec. 29, riders will enjoy more convenient connections between Johnstown and the Centerra Loveland Mobility Hub. These new stops are part of Route 7, offering 30-minute service to shopping centers and links to other routes for access to jobs, schools, medical facilities, and entertainment.

This expansion, which is funded by the Town of Johnstown, marks a major step toward a more connected and collaborative transit future.

Due to limited staffing availability, we'll have service changes to Routes 1, 2, 6, 7 and LINC. C**T will have reduced frequency for two weeks beginning from 12/22/2025 - 1/03/2026.

Schedule for 12/22/2025 - 12/27/2025:

Route 2 will have 60-minute service departing the Loveland North Transit Center at :48 after each hour between 6:48 a.m. and 6:48 p.m.
Route 6 will have 60-minute service departing the Loveland North Transit Center at :20 after each hour between 7:20 a.m. and 7:20 p.m.
Saturday times will be the same starting two hours later and ending two hours earlier – 8:48 a.m. to 5:20 p.m.

Schedule for 12/29/2025 - 1/3/2026:

(New route changes begin for LINC, Route 1, Route 2, Route 6 and Route 7)

Route 2 will have 60-minute service departing the Loveland North Transit Center at :48 after each hour between 6:48 a.m. and 6:48 p.m.
Route 1 will have 60-minute service departing the Loveland North Transit Center at :18 after each hour between 7:18 a.m. and 7:18 p.m.
Route 1 will have 60-minute service departing the South Transfer Point downtown at :35 after each hour between 6:35 a.m. and 6:35 p.m.
Saturday times will be the same starting two hours later and ending two hours earlier – 8:35 a.m. to 5:18 p.m.

No matter your stop, here are some simple ways to stay safe while you wait:

✅Solar lights are at select C**T stops to help you stay visible.
✅Press the button to turn on the light after dark.
✅No light? Use your phone screen to signal the driver.
✅Wear bright or reflective clothing.
